This is Darryl. He's from New Zeland, but has lived in England and has been living in Japan for five years. He just hit the drum. You hit the drum, you buy everyone in the bar a shot of whatever you want. There are about 50 people in here at this point. Each shot is 1000Y. I was about to hit the drum just prior to this, but after a quick education from Darryl, my fuzzy(boozed up)wuzzy math realized that it would be $10/shot, not $1/shot. Had he not corrected this, my credit card would've gone into our friendly bartenders hands and I would've hit the drum several times during the night. Let's just say I owe Darryl a favor. (Of course he took pity on me when he found out I was in Wolverhampton for New Years once.)
